I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. SCAM Text from a fake NHS number suggesting I had been in contact with a Omicron covid case. They also sent a website link which contains viruses.
Called 26 May 2022. Recorded message saying "no agents available" (but without identifying caller) and that they would call back. Other sites report as spam telemarketing.
Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Kate from "Driveway Centre" phone out of the blue. I asked her who she was & why she was phoning me. She sounded agitated & asked me how old is my driveway. I told her I didn't understand why she was phoning & where did she obtain my number. She said my number has been sold on a list. I then hung up.

SCAM - Do not, I mean do not deal with these people. They are scam artists. I just had a call from them pretending to be O2 and I also received a code to access the website that they were obviously going to ask me for. Never ever give out this code. I do work for VM O2 and we never ask for codes from people.
I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.

SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.
