Number has been harassing me all day, did a Facebook search of the number found it a man called Yasir Osman, the whatsapp photo confirms this is him. His Facebook also says he works at sennar.

SCAM A foreign lady on a very bad telephone line clearly not Manchester phoning far too early in the morning wanting to talk about my BT internet connection. We don't even have one. She hung up as soon as I said the call was being recorded. Very annoying!

Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.
Call began with a recorded message beginning "this is a final warning about your unpaid tax.." Hung up immediately and blocked this number on my phone. Glad to see my instinct was proved right when visiting here.

Have been calling every day for several weeks claiming to be Total Management about an accident I didn't have. Complained to TPS who can't trace them so def NOT legit.
Female called because of my recent car accident/slip/trip/injury caused by someone else - I had none of these. She then asked if a friend or relative may have been involved in a car accident etc, but as soon as I said no and asked for my number to be removed , she hung up. Definitely a nuisance call, probably on behalf of a compensation agency/ambulance chaser

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1612497xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with financial services, PPI, insurance claims, loans. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
