Daily call to my mobile ..nuisance ,used to be a customer of Laithwaites but not any more and have requested to be removed from their customer list they clearly are not listening!
SCAM - Text received: “HSBC: A new Payee request was created from an unrecognised device. You can Authorise or Cancel requests via: https://security.hsbc.unverified-payees.com/hsbc” Dodgy looking email address but even more dodgy as I don’t have HSBC account!
Also, tried calling 01423232684 back and was told the number does not exist.
Caller hung up as soon as I absentmindedly answered - may have been genuine wrong number or part of targeting scam?
