Had two calls from this number today and they asked for one of the directors by name. I spoke to this director and he said to take a message. The guy from this company (Alan from the Surveyors Office)said that he would try later. I said he would be better leaving a message as I didn t think the call was for this particular person. I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message).
