SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.

SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Scam exceptionally aggressive Micheal Masterson (suspect not his real name) bitcoin salesman who said to a female, quote "I'm recording this and all your calls, you are not even a human to me, I'm going to report you to the financial industry standards, you dickhead, do you want me to report you for not answering my questions?" I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.

Called twice in two days, claimed to be named "Alice" the first time (unlikely, given her heavy Indian accent), claimed to be from BT Openreach. We use a VOIP system so I put the phone down. Second time, gave no name but claimed to be calling from "[y]our electricity provider". This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?
