SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

Fraud this number is being used to steel the identify of cjhh solicitors and attempting to extort money from clients who are in the process of property transactions and intercept the money to be sent to the fraudsters bank account

This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others

Had a text pretending I had missed a delivery from Evri and trying to get me to visit a website.

Clearly fraudsters trying to get money on basis of '' your bank / credit card has been used for a non authorised payment of £1100'' and encouragement to press option 1 to resolve the issue.

Indian scammers claiming to be from Visa and wanted to have additional authorisation on some recent bank transfers. Checked with bank and no additional authorisations were required. Based on my experience......this is yet another scamming outfit

Call talking about a refund on my phone bill. Asked what company was involved and told it was BT. Apparently due a refund of £200! Told them not with that company. SCAM

As with the previous callers, a text message about unable to deliver a parcel. I've blocked the number and deleted the text.

SCAM: 07480720014 is the 3rd number today, rings only a short ring then stops before you can answer, on ringback you are put on the identical hold music without ringing. Blocked all 3 numbers. Other two are: 07480720406 and 07480721769

Received 2 calls from this number today. Did not pick up as I did not recognise the number. However, I am a bit concerned as the number has been traced to Chechno-Ingushetia. Just be very careful if you receive a call from this number!SCAM

Scam (Debt) kept the guy occupied for 15 mins giving him fake details from my end, he was insistant it wasnt a scam but when i questioned where he was and that i could hear bengali in the background he turned nasty calling me every bad name under the sun. if it is not a scam why get so rude. Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(

Nice to see the Irish H232 gateway owners promoting scammers on their gear. You'd think they'd shut these Indians down. But hey as long as they make money on it eh?
