I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

An Asian accented female called from this number. Insisting she was from Vodafone. Said she had a deal for me and was given my number to offer this great deal but no details about my contract. I said she should have my contract, she said no, this went back and forth. The deal was worse then my current contract. I said she was wasting my time. She said I was wasting hers and got rude. I said your behaviour and comments implies your are not Vodafone and are most likely a scam. She put the phone down

Recorded message saying from bank fraud team.I hung up and checked number which is registered to a property firm in Edinburgh.

Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.

Foreign female caller said they wanted to refund me £198 for money incorrecty taken from my account for a washing machine service. This is a scam.

Called demanding a large amount in tax as stated I had invaded tax. Was transferred to pay it and did I'll go to the post office. Called HMRC. Nothing to pay. Do not trust!

This person claimed to work for Currys pc world. Trying to get me to sign up for a new mobile contract. He knew my number but not my name. When I called him out, he was very abusive then hung up ..... Invalid number when I rang back.

SCAM This number sends a text message claiming to be track and trace. If you go on link it asks you to pay 1.28. NHS test and trace comes directly from "NHStracing" and not a specific number. Please be aware and do not pay on the link.

Call this morning - automated message claimimg to be from Bank Security reporting 2 large payments from my bank account - no mention of my name or which bank. Obviously a scam, asked to press a number on the keypad to speak to someone.

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.
