This appears to be a "roboscam" regarding a so called large debit on 'my bank account ' Presumably they wanted me to give them my bank details. THIS IS A SCAM. BT need to STOP SELLING LOCAL AREA PHONE NUMBERS TO SCAMMWRS,!

Couldn't make out the company they claimed to be from, was very noisy but sounded like a foreign call centre. When I repeatedly but politely asked them to confirm who they were calling from and not getting it I was called a "stupid person". I believe they may have been claiming to be from a mobile phone company.
Called claiming to be from a utility company told them they had the wrong person and to remove my number but they have constantly called since then at least 6 times a day

This number called today at 13.01 asking to speak to Mrs Sarah McSherry. Informed her she had died twelve years ago. She apologised and I asked her to remove phone number from their list and she hung up. Number now blocked.

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. SCAM- think this is a scam call. My mother has been getting a lot of calls that leave a voicemail messages asking for money to listen to the voice message I think this is one of those numbers. Avoid at all cost and block the number if you can.

Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
