This was their second call. I had put their number in my phone to be blocked but they appear to have gotten around this block and the generic blocking of withheld numbers. I will send written complaint to the Bradford address as well as complaining to other regulators.

Hard sell tactics. Avoid them if you can t stand up to them or you will be pushed in to buying and finance deals to pay for it.

Automated voice she said it’s from BT press 1 to answer. Heard her voice on other scams especially Amazon

This is the second time in two weeks that my 89 year old mother has received a call from this number purporting to be HMRC. Luckily, she puts the phone down as soon as she knows...

Just posted the comment above and would like to add that I have reported this matter to the Police and BT and want to urge people not to fall victim to this. The Police have investigated it and have said it is a scam. - Be warned.

People like you just don t get it. Do you think we are all so stupid that your explanation will make everyone say oh well that is ok then, phone me as often as you like . Nothing important and probably unimportant happens or exists because of anything done in the name of research carried out bu cold calling what to you are random people. Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

Seems to be Angel Springs (http://www.angelsprings.com/) - persistent purveyors of water coolers.

Spam call trying it on to find people who have been involved in a car accident - I haven t been in any sort of accident. I asked them to remove my number and the woman demanded I answer her questions. I hung up.

On answering there was a delay, then a voice saying I am from Pearl Assurance, we believe you have been in a car accident that is not your fault...... I said I don t drive and the line went dead

Calling Sapphire on this number is a cost trap. You hold on for several minutes whilst an automated message chips on and on @ 15p a minute and then when it is answered and you state that you are chasing payment their standard response is that the cheque to settle the Voucher claim will be posted next Monday. This has happened to me on a total of 7 times now. I ve received 2 payments of £20 and £50 but I ve still not got back my £79.99 fee plus being charged around £15 in phones calls. Now I ve been chasing

I got a call from this number this afternoon. My policy is not to answer calls which are not on my contact list. No message was left on my answering machine. I barred it and this allows me to call it but when it phones me it will get the engaged tone and pay for it. I phoned the number and my provider says it does not recognise the number. Another exciting day at the office.
