Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Left a message on my answer phone which was difficult to understand but appeared to be about an address for parcel delivery. They never said who they were or asked if I was the person they were trying to contact and further investigation showed that calls to this number cost 16p a minute from a landline plus a setup fee of 23p.
