DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! I got a call this morning from this same and it sounded like an Indian person on the other line asking for my name and then it immediately dropped. I call back the number and the voice note confirmed that the number has been theft from another user and is now been used for SCAM and that none shouldn’t entertained it. Came in a scam email pretending I'd ordered a camera from Target Inc. for £129.99 via PayPal. This is the "customer service number" you have to call to cancel the order. Hovering over the email address (Laverne D Lee) reveals it's from [email protected]

Just been called on landline number from 0151-222-3601 claiming to be from Visa saying payment of £900+ payment and was it me if so press 1? I don't have a Visa card so this a scam.
Returned a call to this number and operator said it is not recognised I therefore take it to be a scam call. I am being plagued with loft insulation calls at the moment so could be one of these don’t answer it .
