A south african lady left a message with a colleague that she needed to talk to me about a private financial matter. When I returned the call, she was unable to tell me where she got my details from as her info was incorrect. Spoke to her manager Luke Taylor who was also unable to tell me where they got my details. They offered to write off my company debt (which does not exist). I had alarm bells right from the beginning and definitely do not trust these guys. Do not trust them and definitely dont give any

Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. I then knew it was a scam as I don’t have a visa account.

Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. This is a research organisation that will be passed on your details when you use a service like Police, Fire, Local Authority or Social/Housing Associations. They get your number from one of these organisations. You can ask to delete your number and they do comply. If you don t want calls from this number, please be sure to inform the above associations you do not consent to your data being shared. They can be persistent and a nuisance if you don t answer and simply ask to delete your number.
