I was called by this number on 16/2/23 at 10.13am. The caller claimed to be from my broadband supplier and said there were problems with my broadband. I said I had no problems and didn’t understand how they could try to con people in this way. Same number called me again at 11.48am, 12.16, and 13.22. These were silent calls. Clearly I annoyed them, but I’m fed up with these calls. How do they know who my broadband provider is ?
i have had a call from this number and when I answer they put the phone down. There was also a call from another mobile number shortly afterwards doing the same thing putting the phone down when I answered from 07760 754834 both calls seem to have come from the Manchester area.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. Silent call: Nothing for 20 seconds until I ended the call.
Call center can't speak English clearly (Indian) and kept asking if it was a mobile they were calling and the answer was yes and as they could not be understood the call was stopped and then blocked.

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
