0203 769 7565 - My elderly mother advised she had received a scam call, claiming to be Sky and calling her by name. Asian sounding woman (Susan) stated Sky are changing from monthly debit standing order to single annual payment, required upfront. Demanded my Mother to provide credit/debit card details immediately, otherwise full subscription circa £150 would be taken on debit from Bank (that bit doesnt make any sense). As an aside, she has never had any Sky account.My mother called me and asked me to deal w

Automated call supposedly from 'AMAZON Prime' to tell me that £79.99 had been taken from my account to pay the subscription and to press 1 if it was incorrect and press 2 for something else - Needless to say that I did not press either, it is total scam.

called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though

Just had a called from "Rachael" regarding an overpayment on a loan from before 2011. I have no loan from that period. She hung up.

SCAM! Called saying I have evaded tax and there is an arrest warrant. Pressing 1 led me to the hold music and a robot which most scammers use which say your call is very important to us. This is definitely not how you would be contacted for tax fraud. You would be arrested already.

Said they were from Carphone Warehouse offering a brand new phone for only £35 per month. Stayed on the call with them and I told them my D.O.B (I gave a fake one) when they asked for my contact details. They then asked for my D.O.B again to which I gave a completely different date which did not phase the man on the other end of the line. So I strung him on for as long as I could before hanging up as I couldnt think of a fake address to give. Next time Ill have one ready! :) This number is a scammer.

A lady from Homespace Southampton called. Asked if I had a garden room or conservatory. I replied I m in a second floor flat and have neither. She then asked about my boiler. At this point I said the company couldn t help me and put the phone down. A minute later she was back on the phone saying she would only take on minute of my time and asked about my boiler again. I said I had storage heaters and was then asked if my boiler was over 8 years old. I got very angry and slammed the phone down.
As per previous review this would appear to be a scam. Got exactly the same recorded message and hung up.

Keeps leaving a voicemail after the call. Voicemail cites the number that called and advises not to disregard the message as the matter at hand is time sensitive.
Information Call from HMRC telling me that I will face legal action and to call another number immediately. Checked with HMRC and they said that they wouldn’t leave a recorded message, text message or email regarding this.
