Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. The number he called from was 02036

Received call from 01514530876, Liverpool number, I did not recognise so didn’t answer, immediately after letting it ring off got a call from 01233542584, Ashford number, which stopped within a second of calling, seems like a spam dialer.

Call center / SCAM Initially received a strange call supposedly from a call centre in Laos saying they were calling on behalf of Accenture Recruitment UK. I was then contacted by this number via WhatsApp & they have been relentlessly trying to get me join a part time job opportunity to make extra income with very little effort for a company called 'Dynatrace' even though I have repeatedly said that I am not interested. Finally blocked & will be reporting the number.

Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
