Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Called using a mobile number - Asian woman asking for me by name and asking if I was having a nice day. Told her I wasn t accepting her call and she hung up. Yet another blocked number on my phone, I ve got more blocked numbers than friends now!

I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. A voice mail message is left saying they are from HMRC and have a lawsuit on me and to ring them back on a specific number to discuss my case. I rang HMRC directly and they said its a scam to get money.

Green Flag, I assume I had recently changed some details of my cover. When I called them about this number they said they had a special arrangement with the company who sent it and that I would not be charged. But if I was they wanted me to call them and they would refund the money to me. I don't think so. I still believe this number to be a scam.
