Looks like some miscreants are using this number from India and informing the people that they are calling for TataAIA Life Insurance. I got many calls from this number and I can sense that they are fraud. Be careful when you get calls from this number.

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

I asked him to call me back in 30 mins, he said "why, are you busy"? He couldn't verify he was from Vodafone and said they'd send an email (not recieved an hour later..). Checked my Vodafone account and no activity. TBH I'm used to being ripped off by Vodafone but at least I can see it happening :)

Today I called the number again answered Boots Opticians, I tried to make an appointment, asked for phone number, gave mobile number told it wasn't on the system, gave home number , not on system not on system! SCAM this number calls and tries to get you to sign up for medical emergency devices like pendants. They tell you different excuses for their call like you had a medical appointment and now qualify for a few pendant with a huge one off service fee on over £150 that y they then say is for 12 months service which isn't a one off payment. They all for your card or direct debit details and when you tell them you think it's a scam they hang up on you.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel
