They probably instigate all the silent nuisance calls you receive so they can tell you that you are being annoyed by nuisance calls. So of course if you pay them they may stop making the nuisance calls. Otherwise known as a protection racket which is certainly illegal.

This number has called my 13 year old daughter s Mobile number 5 times today. I tell her not to answer calls that she doesn t know the numbers. Last one I answered & it was a man asking us to donate to green peace via DD over the phone. I politely told him to get lost & if he calls again I will report them to action fraud.

I was looking for loan to pay car insurance in full.. Short term someone from quick finance rang called armaan shaikh. He told me the finance was approved ready to pay out I had to give account details I did but I had money in the account I ended up giving my credit card details when I recieved a message saying if I authorised a payment I replyed no whilst on the phone to this person I lost my plot....! Bloke was very friendly and implied he was from BT and TPS. said there had been a large number of unsolicited calls in the area and offered a service to stop them. Hung up when I pressed him about price and told him I wouldn t pay. Scarily convincing to vulnerable people!
A few minutes ago I had a call from 01414467459 that I could hardly hear due to cracked sounds in ll.the line, from a foreign lady who wanted to talk to me about my Amazon account. I don't have such an account so I put the phone down immediately. Obviously yet another spam call.
