Scam number trying to get details from people after sending a fraudulent PayPal money request. They get your phone number at least which they can connect to the phone number you call them on and your name which enables them to clone your identity.

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Seems very spammy to me. SPAM

Instead go to a debt charity instead. A debt charity has your best interest at heart. Catch Media Glasgow just want to make money off you. Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

Fraud SCAM Banking Bank scam, of which they don't actually state which bank is calling, in which you will be informed that your account has been debited £300 on something from Amazon and another £1100 on an unspecified international purchase. Message also suggest the you ring back to speak to an operator with the company, again not named, if you need further help or information. I suggest you DO NOT do this.

Got a call from this number claiming to be my current network provider, Vodafone giving 40% discount (...and I am not even with vodafone).. Was asking my name, address, email address etc.. Gave all bogus information and he abruptly hung up after realizing that I am taking him for a ride... Very likely a fraud call trying to extract information
