Don t answer if you can help it. Answer machine about life insurance. Worry that it s one of these scam calls that end up costing you money for answering. Anyone know if this is the case? Number blocked now.

Pretending to be from HMRC saying that you have been involved in fraud and to call the number. Scammers.

This number kept calling my mobile, but I kept missing speaking with whomever was calling. I actually picked up a call today and a man with a sing-song accent (hard to understand) said he was from the Citizen s Advice Bureau, which I thought highly unlikely. He then went on to ask me if I had had any accidents recently - any trips, falls, car accidents etc etc. Scam merchant - I told him to remove my name from his call sheet and never call again.

Selling dubious advertising to uneducated non technical savvy tradesmen who don t understand the internet.

Really bad this one, they were watching their web traffic, saw that someone from our company s IP range was looking at photocopiers and phoned us to ask who it was. No clue why they thought that was a good idea. Their website is http://www.simple.scot

This number keeps ringing, an electronic voice says goodbye and it hangs up. I assume it s someone who has realised I m on the TPS but not until after their computers have dialled the number. Very irritating.
