SCAM, called from a different number first saying he is calling from curry’s pc world and offering mobile phone upgrade at very cheap price. I suspected fraud, so asked for the company details so I can check and call back . Was given this number. When I called ,instead of going through switch board options, someone answered straight away saying “ curry’s mobile phone company, how can I help?” I knew straight away it was a scam, a few fraudsters working together pretending to be a company.
Up till the 2/7/'22, I've found it to be from Paypal. I'm sick of computerised American accents, though, and I don't recommend them as a company, given my experiencees.

Scam call, allegedly from VISA - I haven't even got a VISA card! Claims my card (the one I haven't got) was used for a large spend on Amazon (it's always Amazon, isn't it?). Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.
