Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.

SCAM claimed to be from Domestic and General, knew my name and address and what was insured. They said it had expired, it is continuous so I questioned it and I was passed to Supervisor who wanted me to get my debit card. I hung up. It was a call centre, both Asian accents. SCAM HANG UP

Silent call I have call guardian on my phone, to block out nuisance calls, automated calls, etc. This number rings 4 times, and no one announces themselves, so my phone cancels it, so to me, it's a nuisance.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
