A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

UK +447738015632 is a Scam caller. Hang up, block the number & report it. I answered & it took a couple of seconds to connect to the caller, in the way offshore call centres connect. Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. This phone number rings everyday, sometimes at least FOUR times, in a morning alone, and often through the course of the day, an EVERY day.
SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!

This was a call from a call tariff firm wanting to increase its network it is a cold call and has obtained my number via a sale from other companies I have blocked the number and asked the company to remove me from their call lists immediately this is the second call i have had from a similar number and I asked the last called to remove my number also this did not happen the 1st Time - I will see if it happens again.

When questioned about GDPR he advised that he would have my details removed. I have no recollection of ever enquiring about Life Insurance with any company.
