SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!

When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.
Silent call, answered and an automatic voice said goodbye. Blocked.

SPAM - called and left no message! If any call in my opinion is legitimate, a voicemail message should be left giving the recipient a chance to return the communication after careful consideration! Normally if the caller is reluctant to leave voicemail it’s because they are trying to extract info out of you via questionable means without any recourse. If that’s not the case then surly a voicemail with their info would be reasonable would it not ?
