Another site shows calls started from this number on 5th March 2023 & users have searched this number several hundred times by 14:00 hrs on 6th March !!!! Rang off before I could answer!!?? An experience shared by many others checking this Robocall/Scam Call Centre number.

This is a renewal scam phone number. Do not call them. You haven't been billed for renewing Norton (even if you are using it, this number is not Norton). They even claim the number is "toll free" - which it isn't. Also, this is not a term we use in the UK anyway, we would say it was a freephone number. The scam usually involves you logging in to your on-line bank, then them showing you that they have overrfunded you (by blanking your screen then manipulating the contents of the page).

Július 4-én késő este jött SMS, UPS tracking-től, hogy a csomagom elakadt, klikkeljek egy linkre, ahol ki tudom fizetni a felmerült vámot. Sajnos fáradt voltam, nem figyeltem, ráadásul volt is függőben lévő külföldi megrendelésem. Beleszaladtam a csapdába, megadtam az adatokat. Szerencsére gyorsan kapcsoltam és azonnal beléptem a bankomba, ahol lenulláztam a bankkártya limitemet. Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

SCAM number as if you try to call it back they end your call. When I answered the call the guy couldn't talk very good English, too myself, he then said that he's from citizens advice bureau and has found out information that I've got a lot of debt and they wish to help me dispose of the debt I then asked how does citizens advice know I have debt when I have not and then I said to them citizens advice do not cold call you you have to make appointments to go and see them so this is a scam.
