The standard call center with better spoken india type dialect Insists it a microsoft call !! we have you computer activation you key to prove we are for real !!!!! thank god these idiots dont get it they would no doubt be a menace with two sticks and a bit of string. I am in Greece and have a Greek mobile. I had a missed call from this number. As we have UK-based clients I called the number back and the bakery had no idea what I was talking about! I have come across this before with UK numbers, can a third party somehow hijack a landline number?

SCAM used to work for this company we were essentially paid to call elderly customers and lie to them that we were Dyson and miele and they had to pay for mandatory vacuum servicing etc, they would push us to sell to those with dementia because they could charge more and service more frequently awful company.

Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? He immediately went into "what phone are you using?" Obviously looking to sound like he could choose an upgrade whilst scamming you out of the cost of the non-existent

After endless repeated attempts from scammers trying to phish me. I dont answer strange numbers, especially ones that dont leave a message. This caller is not my doctor/ friend/work/family, so I simply have blocked them. unfortunately they pop up every day in the optimiser part of my phone despite me blocking their number.
Caller claimed to be from "my network" - his accent was difficult to understand, so I failed to hear what the network was. I terminated the call and blocked the number. Clearly a scam!

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
