Scam call, do not answer.

These guys call saying they are from EE and offering special deals. Then they asked for my personal information. When I questioned why they needed my data they stated that the number they called on (which appeared on my handset) if listed on the EE website under the security section. I hung up and checked. No such number on EE s website, so I call a contact I have at EE and she checked and stated the number is most definitely NOT EE and I should not treat the call as an EE authorised call. This guy attempts to buy your items on gumtree but only from women. When he realised I wouldn t meet him in person but had my boyfriend arrange it he became abusive and refused to buy the item then spent the rest of the day being aggressive via texts and emails. I have had several calls from this number repeatedly today, when I pick up it's all I can hear is what sounds like a child being silly.

Not sure.. but I got an automated message when I answered to tell me that my Insurance number had been compromised and I should press 1 before they take action. I hung up. Sounds like a scam !!!!

I didn t answer and they left no vm, when I tried to call back the number was not recognised.

caller identified herself as Jennifer (Asian sounding voice) & said she was calling from BT & there was a problem with my computer & my service was about to be cut off. I was slightly concerned since I have a BT broadband account & was using my laptop at the time, but the tone of the call felt bogus so I hung up & checked number via Google.
