Two calls this week. First claiming to be BT and needed my Debit card number. Second claimed to be HSBC and said my account had hacked and someone had stolen £400. He said he was called Alex and gave an ID number. He wanted more details of my debit card and soon hung up when I didn't give them. I went straight to my nearest HSBC branch. They said no money had come out of my account. And no one had rung me from HSBC today and the name and ID number meant nothing.

Call cut off as soon as i answered it. called back and it was automated message saying they will call me back. completely unsolicited call- unwanted and interrupted my working day. option to press 9 to opt out but who knows if that will work. blocked the number from my phone anyhow.
