This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). A person called requesting that I was able to provide them with details about myself and my occupation to whom I currently am employed with. When I asked why they wanted this information, they paused and said it was for 'business analytical research'.

This number called me apparently from a landline in Liverpool. I answered and I received no response what so ever. This maybe a cold caller as I don't know anyone business or personal in Liverpool. Hopefully others may provide more information.
Call from what sounded like a call-centre, caller had an Indian accent and said she was calling from 'Currys PC World' then asked me straight out 'can I ask you what mobile phone you are currently using? Samsung? iPhone' etc. I've never known Currys PC World to cold call with mobile phone offers so sounds potentially dangerous to me, possible data harvesting / phishing. Blocked.
They texted me as if they were CV library however they tried asking me for my bank account details via a text. Called me, asked for someone who doesn’t live here, then repeatedly asked my name. Very hard to understand. Raised voice when I pointed out he should know my name as he was calling an ex directory number.

Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call
