Received a phone call from this number this morning at 10.39am. When I lifted the receiver there was some garbled noise then a single tone and the number rang off. Hard to say whether or not this is a 'dangerous' number but need to be careful. Not good when no-one speaks.

Phone today 27/07 purporting to being doing a survey. Assumed I was a tenant and that I needed repairs doing on my property. When I asked if they were giving me money to make repairs on my property she became flustered and said sorry they were only speaking to tenants and ended call. Sounded like a young asian woman with call centre noises in background.

This is a cold calling number being rerouted from India. They claim to offer a brand new mobile phone contract to iPhone users for £35/month, and they asked me how long I had my iPhone for (I don't have one). So I asked them where they got my number from. They claim to have my number on a database because I am a loyal customer. I asked them a loyal customer of what? My mobile service provider, they replied. Who is my mobile service provider, I asked. At which point they hung up. Block this number.

Its a scam I receive a dubious voicemail from this number "report these transactions" then a few seconds silence then "Thank you for calling" I rang the number to see if they were pretending to be my bank but I got put through to a locksmith based in Bournemouth to which I explained my reason for calling and they replied that it was probably a scam and if they call me again to ignore it. Rehan Ali was recommended and everything went through smoothly. I did get confused with accessing my account as I tried to do it through British Gas online, who kept saying they did not have a record of me, eventually I twigged that I access the account through Britishgaslite.co.uk not British Gas. We are now waiting for a smart meter to be fitted. I have been given a date and a time rather than a day or half day slot, I just need to see if they turn up, but so far 5 star rating.
