This number called me on my landline & when I answered there was a pre-recorded message to the effect that there had been suspicious transactions on my bank card. I strongly suspect this is a scam.

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
