Told me my appliance cover was expiring shortly. When I said I wanted to make a claim he changed his mind and said it had expired. SCAM obviously, but who issues these phone numbers knowing they are used to defraud - somewhere a legit company has to be issuing these. They are no better.
Called today, picked up but no one spoke.
Indian call centre just rang me from this number claiming to be from an accident helpline. I asked where he got my number from, he said why are you asking me this question. I said I have a right to ask, he said you re a p***y and called me a b*stard and all sorts. I looked on the Ofcom numbering database and the number range is registered to JTEC UK LTD who guess what don t have a website or contact details on the net. I ll report this to BT and to Ofcom and to my telephone service provider.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 20814409xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing, accident claims - classical "I believe you've been involved in an accident". Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

This number, 01223660041, rang my mobile and I declined the call. Then I immediately received a missed call text from a different number, 01515249700. I called both back yo see who had called and both had the same identical message, sounding like "thanks for calling fresh contacts. Please wait for next agent" at which point I terminated my call.
