So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit. The are committing fraud as they have no valid contract with anyone. Smart Meters cause health issues and should be banned asap.I blocked the scammer. No consent.

When subsequent callers have been asked the same question the line has 'dropped out' from the far end! Make your own decision!

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. It's a number for Royal Mail Slough delivery office, so should not be being given out by Ali express. Don't ring it, they must keep the phone off the hook because they are tired of all the calls they get through (incorrectly). If you want more info then just ring the normal royal mail customer services who will tell you if the tracking number is valid but only confirm whatever the Royal mail tracker says (which in my case doesn't even show that parcel has been sent to Royal Mail).

When challenged with questions such as “what bank is calling me?” The person was unable to answer and ultimately terminated the call. I knew it was a scam, but just like to waste their time as much as they waste mine.
