SCAMThis number called me about a £600 debit from my visa card. An man with an Indian accent asked me for my bank sort code I asked which sort code and he said the one from my visa debit card. I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.

Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.

Recorded voice telling of £300 and £1000 having been taken from our bank account, one relating to Amazon. They asked for button pressing, which led to us hanging up.

If I don't know the number I don't answer, if they are human and want me they will leave a message, if not it's a machine checking to see if I'll answer so they know they have a valid number. Whatever they were trying to sell me hasn't worked and I'm happy about that at least. Number blocked.

Fraud Just got a call from this number it was a recorded message telling me about unusual activity on my account i.e Amazon £300.00 and another one for £1000.00. Hence I hung up.

I didn't answer because I didn't know the number but they hung up without leaving a message when my answerphone kicked in. I live in NW England and don't know anyone in Guildford so I strongly suspect it was a scam call or some trying to sell me something. It was certainly nobody I would want to speak to.
