I called the number it came back as not recognised so I replied to the text asking who they are but no reply
This number phoned me this morning but I missed the call. As it has eight digits identical to my number, I can only assume that malicious intent is involved in some way. I have blocked the number and suggest you do so too.

TAXES / HMRC Evasion. If you receive a phone call either on landline or mobile from a supposedly 'HMRC', what ever happens, what ever you do, do not press any keys on your keypad as per instructions. This will lead to monies being taken from your account because you've allowed it to happen. Remember that if HMRC wish to contact you at all for what ever reason, they will do it by post and not on the phone. The same applies with banks. Please, people, don't do it.

I have had several calls on my mobile at least three times a day from this number which I refuse to answer. If I don t know who it is and they don t leave a message, then why would I want to speak to them. Very annoying, wish they would just leave everyone alone.

House of Ladies ask for a police check. I am not sure of them. Perhaps someone can let me know if they are genuine. Usually a good agency as the type on this page should be good. Only the bad ones need a police check. I do not have their number but it can be looked up. They do not charge for admin or so their information states. Scam caller stating hmrc have a case against you, not true, if press 1 will be charged excessively. Should be hung and dried.
