He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

A robocaller from "mastercard" saying £600 from my account was sent to a foreign country and to press 1 to cancel or something. Clearly a scam I never sent that much to any foreign country.
I had 2 calls from this number today 17/04/22 and as soon as I answered the line went dead no verbal response. Would not remove my number unless I answered his questions, said he did not have the authority, then told me he was the manager it was his company apparently called Connecting People and gave his name as Sam Thomas, not surprised to see neither listed on Companies House!

Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.

I this is a search i made for Matalan in Newcastle upon tyne I pponed the number as i wished to speak to customer servie. A male voice spoke to me saying you have reached your credit please press one to make a payment, I dony have any credit withe matalan. I thought this was a bit fishy so i blocked the number. then i asked my husband to phone the number from his old Nokia phone. the reply was. This number has been blocked. hmmm was it a scam or what. this was my experience, I hope my comments help.
