I received a call from this number at 16:55 to tell me that the government owed me over ?4k I gave no bank details and when I asked what company they were calling from I was told it was a dept of the UK Government. I was also given ref no.RB51. I was told to call back in 5 mins to speak to a manager who would explain further and send me my cheque. If it was the UK Government surely they would write to people!!!

Fraud They took money of us by claiming they had details of illegal transactions relating to businesses that owe us money. It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. If you look carefully. You will find very vague Companies House details, the actual business is dissolved where they've taken money of lots of people and just closed it down, they have no registered company at Companies House (

The caller hung up after 2 rings, I called back and heard the network message "You have dialled an incorrect number..." Obviously a scam from scum losers.

The person told me they were from sky and it was regarding my internet connection . I told them I would not give out my passwords or be clicking on any links in my computer as too many scammers claiming to be from this company and said if I need to talk to sky I will phone them myself. SCAM - A recorded message thanking me for renewing Amazon Prime (which I hadn't) and that money had been taken out of my account for it. I hung up as I guessed it was going to ask me if this was a mistake and if so to press 1!
Accepted the call but didn t say anything, the automated system waits for the word "Hello" before reeling off their rubbish to you. The call stayed silent before cutting itself off. Added this number, along with a few others, to my SPAM entry in my address book.

Claimed to be Amazon. It’s the iPhone 11, 12, 13 scam. Order on hold due to suspicious activity. £1400. Told him I was logged into my Amazon account and there was no suspicious order. I asked him if he was sure he was from Amazon and not Orinoco, Congo, Limpopo or some other river. But he didn’t seem to see the joke.
