Picked this up on a missed call. As it was a local number I wasn't concerned. Message left stating that a payment to Western Union had been requested for £1000 +. This is obviously a cloned number. Number not recognised on ringing back. Will report to Fraud unit.

SCAM - claiming to be from O2 offering a 30% discount, will try to get you to read a security code from a text message that specifically says "Do not give this to anyone, including O2 staff"

02394352784 called 26 may 23 at 08:14 hrs..... Male caller said his records showed my property roof insulation was old sub-standard material and should be replaced to improve efficiency. Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. Last previous call was from 02394352784 26 April 23 at 0832hrs.

SCAM call about card transaction

Claimed to be HMRC number was from Cambridge, but when trying to phone this number back it says it isn't a valid number.

This is a scam line purporting to be BT telling you your broadband has been compromised.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

Debt collector, I think this is a check up call from Oxford TV licencing Enforcement Division to check if someone aged over 75 and still forced to buy a licence is still alive, The caller asks for you by name and when you say yes they make some excuse about not being able to hear properly saying they will call back later.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

The woman calling from this number presents a very convincing, elaborate payment SCAM and claims to be a Lawyer in the United Kingdom, representing a "President of a large Italian company." The name or pseudonym used of the so called lawyer is Vikki McKay.
