Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
The person calling me told me that someone made a transaction of 2000 euros from my bank and wanted me to give him my data. I hanged up
I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.

However when I started the process I immediately suspected it was scam and called them out for being scammer. 14th Feb 2024 at 1148 - Call claiming that our loft insulation was reaching the end of its warranty life (20 years) and they would like to inspect it - when I told the man that the house was not built 20 years ago and that we did not have a loft, the man rang off immediately.

SCAM automated voice trying to get me to choose the option so they could obviously scam me said it was visa and large amounts had been spent tying to worrying me to choose the option just hung up checked the number and found it was from Oslo.

Called three times this morning and left no message on my answering service so, obviously nothing important, other than being a nuisance.

at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
