I got a call this morning (Sunday) at 08:30. It's a good job I didn't answer otherwise they would have had a piece of my mind. I work for a telecoms provider myself and, like to police our outbound customers to make sure they're not doing crazy stuff like this.
It called me and I didn t recognise it so didn t pick up, but then when I called back (after there were no entries here) it said it s an invalid number.

SCAM - Do not answer Reporting as O2 with a fabulous deal. They will ask your details, give you a name and extension number to call in case you’re cut off. They even send a txt from O2 with a code that you have to enter. I hung up before entering codes or getting any access information and they were straight back in the phone. Called O2 who confirmed that they are aware of this.

Called me but no message left. Called back and was instantly put into a queue with music for 11 minutes and then it hung up 'goodbye'. Wouldn't trust this - no idea who it was but it gets a negative rating for wasting time and probably being baddens.

I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)
