States from curry’s yet was a call centre with foreign speaking people. Don’t believe it was. Not from the village the number is recognised from.

Some one pretending to be from mastercard

Got texts from Santander saying money was trying to be transferred to “Jamie Allen” and to call this number if it wasn’t me. Have not and will not call number. Is not Santander.

Fraud automated call telling me that a payment of over£900 was requested from my visa account and to hit one of a series of numbers on my keypad. Needless to say, I didn't and ended the call.

My wife answered. Foreign male called asking to speak to XXX. No security questions asked. Claimed he was from Microsoft. When told we were on TPS, he became argumentative. He clearly hadn't heard of TPS. When asked to remove our details from their database he became aggressive and said he would disconnect our phone at our address. He knew our address because he read it out! He then put the phone down when I said in the background we were connecting to the police.

SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

SCAM Received a call from 01983 882 832 claiming to be a bank checking on two transactions they regarded as suspicious. Told to press 1 if ok and 2 to speak to someone. I hung up. Banks do not do this!

They call me from this number and I don't pick up because I am from Tenerife and I have no family, no friends and no business in the UK. I am sure it is a scam, be very careful. Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

This was a 'security company', sounded well stoned, insisting I had lost money on Crypto and he was going to give me my money back. I have lost no money on Crypto. Scm obviously

Somehow knew my mobile phone network, offered me 30% discount and would transfer me to a supervisor. Did not mention my name or his. Scam. Number blocked. Do the same.
