calls claiming to have had a missed call. Female voice
This oriental man called Brendon called from the number 02030269204 and said he was from Virgin Media and offered 100Mbps speeds in my area. He said it was a 24 month contract, for £35.00 per month then £50.00 from month 13 to month 24. He then asked for my director s bank account number and sort code. I said this is a scam and put the phone down.
SCAM - Threatening magistrates action but nothing known about.
This is a Scam currently being perpetrated against UK residents. A recorded voice tells you that the call comes from your bank and £600 has been taken from your credit card, if you did not authorise this then press 1. I have confirmed with both my bank and the bank used by my business and both are aware of this Scam. There is no name available but I think the business could well be called "The Bar Stewards".

Will call then eather cut off knowing your number works and can only guess pass it on or it answers as a car accident lot. Just another to avoid.
They called me and stated that a criminal offense has been registered in your name as you were caught in tax evasion. They also claim to be from the HMRC. Don't worry they are just scammers. The person said we'll take legal action against you. I told him to do whatever you want and he quit the phone call immediately
Safe number
Call making out I had actually called them a while back - I had not. Tried to sell solar panels and when I said no, the (first of all friendly woman) became less friendly.

14 calls yesterday, 5 today, they are certainly triers. Didn t matter how much I made it clear I thought it was a scam. They were adamant they were Tps. Eventually blocked their number.
