Called saying from o2 never asked for any of my personal details but sent me a one time pass code kept me on the line for quite some time offering me discount on my bill plus free upgrade. When call ended contacted o2 and was informed that the one time pass code is what they use to lock me out of the account and gives them the access to use my account

'automated' call supposedly from Amazon about Amazon prime renewal to be taken from bank account. Clearly phishing; hung up.
Got called from this number today. Upon speaking to the agent from India, she tells me she s from the UK regulator of energy asking me for my cost of electricity I currently pay. I asked again for where she was calling from and she gave me there business name of UK Energy Direct. Upon telling her that UK Energy Direct wasn t the UK regulator it is Ofgem or whatever they are now called, she informed me that they are working for and on behalf of Ofgem to tell my supplier to lower my bill. I have just received a phone call on my home phone from this number. a voice (American i think) informed me they were from Amazon and that my payment of £39.99 would be taken . If I wanted to stop payment I would have to press a number on my phione keypad. I disconnected immediately and looked up the number on Google and came to this site.
