Why do I get these calls
A woman called me today from the Ministry of Justice and said that i was owed thousands of pounds from Barclays bank. She gave me this number to ring and was very forceful that i contact this number to claim my money. She also asked me to provide my bank details for a credit transfer. Do not call this number as it is a scam.
SCAM A male stated he was calling from HMRC regarding a warrant issued against me for no m=payment aof a debt and if I didn't press 1 on the phone in the next few seconds I would be visited by police and arrested - This is 100% SCAM and a fraudulent attempt to extort money. Make sure any elderly people you know are made aware of this scam, it could easily frighten them into paying vast sums to this criminal fraudster

I am so angry at these people. I am away on business and my phone is constantly ringing in meetings. I am out of the country and I think its urgent. Someone somewhere has to stop these people being like a bad smell that just does not go away. I have had 2 a day for the past week. They all should be stopped and closed down immediately. Why do they keep on phoning about an "accident" that I keep telling them never took place!!? So thick skinned and can t get the message. They said they are phoning to help me "close the file"! What file? Are they dumb? However, the real culprits are the people selling them the telephone numbers in the first place. What can they possibly get out of it if there was genuinely no accident to "close the file" on?? Beats me!
