The caller said he was phoning about a government initiative allowing home-owners a grant to go green . When I said my number was registered with the TPS and therefore I didn t know why he was calling me at all, he continued his spiel and I was forced to repeat myself, adding that I didn t appreciate the invasion of my personal time. Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.
