They now have a new number - 0800 4 11 88 99. Like many others I took out 3 years cover on a machine I no longer have. Tried cancelling over the phone but was informed I had to write in to obtain a refund. Did that a week ago but no confirmation of received so I tried phoning several times this morning but after seven minutes a voice says "Goodbye" and the call terminates. Judging from the ringing it is on a hunt group but nobody picks up. Looks like CAB is the next stop.
SCAM / SPAM This was an automated voice telling me that there was a tax fraud investigation under my name. I believe this is quite a common scam. You can find details about these calls on HMRC website.
When they called me, this was a survey company working on behalf of EE. They most likely perform telesurveys for a variety of companies.

I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. The idea of the scam is to make the mobile owner not pick up, but cost them on their next bill. Even though the caller did not initiate the call, the phone company will state they did. I did not understand the caller as he had a peculiar accent. Became rude when I asked him to repeat.

SCAM says call is form Carphone Warehouse. When asked where he got my number from, he replied that it was from my network provider. He was unable to tell me who my network provider was and hung up himself.
