SCAM Call pretending to be from National Crime Agency and threatening to suspend my NI number / assets / etc.
They had my name and phone number, and wanted to ask me about payment protection insurance. They said the call centre is in South Africa, and the accents would support that. I asked how they had my number. "National consumer database", which I said sounds a fictitious name. The supervisor told me their alleged company name, and another highly ambiguous trading name, and had me look up their website. There is very obviously no connection between them and the named website, which is based in another part of t

Persistant caller. Called 5 times in last two days. Did not recognise number so cut them off.
Answered this as they used my local dialling code. Asked if I had had a road traffic accident. I said no and he apologised.

Won t stop phoning me. Was polite the first 7 times, and asked to be taken off their database. When the 8th call came today I told them I was f*cked off and the guy asked if there was an adult there he could speak to. Absolute arsehole. Pond life.
Do not trust this company.
Cold caller. Since giving my number to Dogs Trust when I sponsored a dog last week I have had up to 10 cold calls a day, different numbers. Never had any before. Blocked.

British gas survey, as with prev callers, just called British Gas( re smart meter install) , my BT phone stopped the number getting through, they then left a voicemail on my mobile.
