Wendle Furgusson emailed and requested a quote for wallcovering. Once received advised that his accounts have overpaid and would like a refund. Heard this before and have processes in place to ensure our companies safety. The bank are investigating - complete scam
Claiming to be amazon prime account billing.
Automated voice saying authorisation required for a payment of £600 pending on my mastercard/visa and to press 1 if I didn't recognise. Ended call immediately and reported.

Have had several calls on mobile but never a person there - presume scam as keeps happening and do not know or expect call from anyone in this area

Scam call. Recorded message claiming to be Amazon, saying that I've been billed £90 for subscription.
Called me and they put the phone down immediately I answered. I would suspect they want me to call them on an expensive call rate OR they are being paid by a client to make calls and consider the fact they got through compliance with their obligations to that client.

Some automated voice claiming they're from HMRC that there has been a tax fraud and of I don't press one a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Hung up immediately.
I have stopped answering calls altogether unless my telephone indicates caller s identity because the number of harassment calls has got worse. Recently I told O.V.O. I wanted to change my tariff to a single rate to replace Economy Seven. That should not require a new meter but they insisted they would only co-operate if I agreed to having a smart meter, which I decided against a long time ago after getting advice. This call, to which I did not reply, was apparently another attempt to get me to agree

SCAM This call is related to energy and initially sounds like a live person but if you don't respond it becomes clear it is pre recorded. Be very careful about responding with "Yes" or "No" answers as your voice response can sometimes be used for other potentially fraudulent purposes
