SCAM - we're from a government agency and your national insurance number has been suspended

When answered an automated message from HMRC informed me that "we are contacting you because there has been a tax fraud on your name" I had to press 1 to continue. Then a "consultant" picked up and asked me to confirm my name and postcode, I refused, he hang up even before I had a chance to finish the sentence.
SCAM call about suspending my National Insurance because I have been engaged in fraudulent activity. Didn't listen to it all as I hung up. Have had a few of these but always a different number.
