I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. Today I called the number again answered Boots Opticians, I tried to make an appointment, asked for phone number, gave mobile number told it wasn't on the system, gave home number , not on system not on system! Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

"Utility Care Club" claiming our subscription had been reduced. We aren't members. Sounded dodgy. Looked it up. It appears to be a real company (incorporated 2019). If it the real company, it ignored TPS, and told a falsehood on the phone. Umbrella company for servicing. Would not join one of these in any case. Definitely Spam.
